The Capo Sud hotel was built in its initial nucleus in 1955 by the Di Puccio family who still manage it today. Since then it has grown and been renovated several times, but the welcome that you want to be reserved and friendly has never changed. The hotel offers hospitality in 44 rooms located in small villas (each of which occupies from 2 to 12 rooms) arranged in a park of more than 10,000 square meters that reaches our private beach. These quiet houses are called: La Palma, the Eucalyptus, the Sun, the Aleatico, the Moon, the Pines, the Mimosas, the Nightingale, the Pittosphorus, the Hedgehog and the Salvia Marina; their name was suggested to us by their particular positions in the green of the Mediterranean scrub in which the hotel is located. Each room is surrounded by greenery and has its own balcony or terrace. One of the features most appreciated by our guests is the proximity to the sea. From the terrace where breakfast is served, near the water lily pond, the three paths start which, after a hundred meters, lead to the private beach and the swimming pool. We are in a corner of great tranquility, right on the edge of the Tuscan Archipelago Natural Park which promises clean sea and corners of unspoiled nature. Our geographical position, central to the main inhabited centers of Elba, makes the "South Cape" an excellent starting point for those wishing to visit these villages just a few minutes by car: Capoliveri and its ancient village perched on the hill, Portoferraio with the Medici fortresses and the villas of Napoleon and Porto Azzurro and Marina di Campo with their elegant shops. Those who prefer to "forget" the car for the whole holiday can take advantage of our free parking (not guarded) and discover that there is no shortage of opportunities to take beautiful walks in the surroundings, such as along the Capo Stella promontory with the panorama of the Elban sea on both sides of the walk. And finally, even those who choose absolute rest can still enjoy the beauty of the island sitting on a comfortable bench in the shade of a majestic eucalyptus or under the warm Lacona sun, perhaps reading a book taken from the well-stocked library that the hotel offers to its Guests.
