Living the Park

The wait is over: from today the 2021 calendar “Vivere il Parco” can be consulted in a digital version online. The thematic contents include Trekking, outdoor experiences, workshops, tastings, conferences, sea excursions, for a total of over 730 events spread over the seven islands of the Tuscan Archipelago. More than 200 events are dedicated to children who can have fun learning with environmental education activities in the visitor centers, marine biology workshops on the beaches, geology experiences with walks, evenings for stargazing or meetings with experts to learn how to recognize sea turtle nests. The fascinating world of bats, the micro-universe of insects, terrestrial and marine fauna, amphibians, reptiles, native and alien flora to raise awareness of the importance of safeguarding biodiversity are the themes at the center of Biowatching's proposals. : trekking which, through the involvement of experts, will allow participants to discover the habitats of conservation interest protected by the Park on Elba, Capraia and Giglio thanks to the Rete Natura 2000 project. Trekking around the islands: 150 various excursion appointments , some recurring, such as the visit to the Dune of Lacona or the Orto dei Semplici in Rio, others occasional that allow the discovery of the extraordinary path network of the islands, others finally exclusive, such as those that allow you to visit the islands of Montecristo or Gorgona and much more.
